Listen Now: Spoons' Space

SPOONS for ADAM:  (n.) a group of very hardworking, dedicated, and smart musicians brought together by a
common love of making undeniably good music.

They're dedication has been recognized by high profile industry professionals such as Butch Walker (Epic), Kaumyar of Big City Rock (Atlantic), Sprout of A Hero From A Thousand Paces (1x1 music/Island) and Chantal Claret of Morningwood (Capitol).

ON THE AIR: SFA is  in regular rotation  at 93.7FM WSTW in Delaware for their Hometown Heroes show. SPOONS has also played 104.5FM in Philadelphia's,  New Music Tuesday showcase yeilding them prime-time promotion spots. At that show were not only some of the biggest bookers in the Philadelphia area, but also the Editor in Chief of Philly Edge.  Thus, that added another notch to the band's press features list, which already included publications like Origivation Magazine and  Philly Style Magazine.  This is a band ready to break.

FAN FAVORITES : Formed in the summer of 2005, SFA has been working non-stop. They've gotten kudos along with great contacts not only in Philadelphia, but in NYC, LA, Atlanta, Houston and the UK to name a few. Their fan base also stretches over these areas. If given the chance, there is no doubt that this catchy rock/pop band could not only top thecharts, but conquer the world.

IN THE STUDIO: When it comes to the studio, this band is ridiculously fast and accurate. Having recorded with Ian D.G. Bennett of We Are Castles, all of the Spoons recordings a specific pop flare. Bennett has recorded tracks for bands like The Starting Line (Virgin)and Like Lions (Jive). He has also worked in Water Music Studios, as well as Big Sky. SPOONS don't skimp on what they love, and Bennett works with the band to make sure that the end result is exactly what they want.

ON TOUR: SFA has shared the stage with some noteable bands over the past year. They pulled the biggest crowd of the night while playing with Bedlight For Blue Eyes (Trustkill), Permanent Me (Stolen Transmission), and Scenes from a Movie (Unborn Media). They've played with Like Lions (Jive), Desoto Jones (Deep Elm), and Another Day Late (B &
Doghouse) to name a few. SFAcan clearly hold their own, and well.

Most importantly, SFA understands their audience and what they want. SFA is their audience.
