Jay Della Valle is taking his hit documentary, “The Glorius Mustache Challenge,” and hitting the road to spread the message of the mustache revival. Your school can be a part of the Mustache Mayhem!  Book a Mustache Party on your campus this FALL 2007 SEMESTER!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi there,

I'd like to introduce you to Jay Della Valle and his Glorius Mustache Challenge in hopes of booking him on your campus this fall.   What began as a challenge from Della Valle (a mustache-obsessed wedding DJ from New Jersey) to his friends, has become a nation-wide media craze over the past year.

The 28 year-old Della Valle dared his under 30 year-old male friends to grow a mustache for one month. No beards. No goatees. Just the lone stache.  As he began filming their journeys, more men requested to take part in the feat.  The result is a hilarious look at one of pop culture's bygone trends and a tribute to the young men risking shame and ridicule to bring it back.

In an age ruled by beards, goatees, and clean-shaven faces, Della Valle’s fight to save the mustache from permanent extinction has been featured on television (The Today Show,  CNN Headline News,  Geraldo at Large, Good Morning America, WB News 11, ESPN’s Cold Pizza) and in print (the cover of AM New York, USA Today, The New York Times, Variety, New York Press, The Village Voice, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Daily Herald, Boston Daily Herald, Time Out New York and The New York Post just to name a few).

After several cross-country screenings, The Glorius Mustache Challenge has been released on DVD via www.thegloriusmustache.com and is now available in stores including Hot Topic and Urban Outfitters.

For more information, please visit www.audiocrushpr.com and www.myspace.com/gloriusmustache, where you’ll be able to view press clips and play the “Pick Your Stache” game.

I have also attached a one-sheet with all the information you’ll need about the college tour, which includes a screening of the hilarious one-hour documentary, a live musical performance by the band Mustache and official mustache contests (ladies aren’t left out!).

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to working with you!

Best,
